Do you have an urgency to preserve your stories for future generations?
Whether you’re in the planning stage or execution stage, our editorial and consultative services can help you tell your family’s unique story.
STOP ONE: CONVENING THE FAMILY AROUND THE PROJECT
This is a short consultative project that can be done as part of a family weekend retreat or as a stand-alone consultative engagement. We facilitate a legacy or history conversation with your family. These early conversations include identifying the purpose of the project and preparing the family leader who will oversee the project.
STOP TWO: SHAPING THE DELIVERABLE
We assist the family in evaluating who the project is for and what creative forms the project might take. At the end of this phase you'll have a clear idea of which format (or combination of formats) your family history should take, whether a documentary, memoir, anthology of first-person stories, podcast, or audio/video archive.
STOP THREE: PUBLISHING YOUR FAMILY BUSINESS STORY
At this stage of the journey, you are ready to embark on the publishing journey. For clients who wish to do the writing and publishing themselves, Journey Sixty6 can support you with our creative consultation and developmental editing services. For families who wish to outsource this portion of the project, Journey Sixty6 has a proven publishing process and creative team to do the creative work for you.
