Is Your Book Thesis Too General?

One of the most counter-intuitive aspects of writing is the idea of specificity.

In book writing, general is bad, and narrow is good. It's critically important that you begin your book writing journey with a narrow thesis, an idea that you develop over the course of your book.

In this short video, I simply make the point that your thesis probably needs to be more narrow. Spend some time on your thesis this week. How will that change the trajectory of your writing?
